Series Title: Framed?

Tagline:

Parties can be fun but the aftermath can be deadly.

Tone:

The start of the series presents a upbeat, happier tone. This is to set the mood of University Students 'living life' and the good mood which would be found at a party. This is significant because of the parties being held at the central apartment which is being rented out for it.

As we progress through the film and the murder weapon is located in the apartment, the tone becomes more and more sinister helping to build up the suspense you feel for the character.

Synopsis:

We are greeted with are female protagonist who is a university student in university accommodation. She is studying film and TV production. Her name is April and she is known around the whole University as she has the largest accommodation flat, due to her grandparents being quite well off. Every Friday night April allows one of her friend's boyfriends (named Josh) to host a party every Friday evening, even though she April doesn't really want it. This happens with no problem every Friday, April normally doesn't attend the parties and instead likes to spend time with her best friend Sophie. One Friday a week before April first, she comes back to the apartment once everyone has left to find a murder weapon. She panics and does not know what has happened or what to do. Suddenly someone knocks on the door, April answers and they see the knife before calling the police. April runs but forgets to try and remove the weapon from her apartment. The police arrive, and assume April murdered someone as she ran from the scene. This is dramatic Irony as the audience know she is innocent. April tries to sneak back into the apartment  at a later date to gather a vital piece of CCTV evidence to show it was not her and find out what happened. This is made hard by Josh who will do anything to keep the blame on her and not him as the party host. Throughout the series, things do not go well for April and she ends up getting accused of the crime of murder. We find out this was Josh's plan, to try and gain full time access to the apartment.
